We would like to invite you to Vilajoyosa. A colourful quiet little fishing town by the Mediterranian sea north of Alicante Spain. Our studio have been in operation since the summer of 2019. We have local and foreign artists who spend longer or shorter time working in our panting studio and print makers spending time on our engraving press. Prints have been made from wood and lino carvings as well as photo gravure.
In 2022 we would like to start inviting artists to us by arranging artist in residence programs managed by Elena Toreli (link to CV). We are planning 2 residences this year with application deadlines July 31st and October 31st.
This is a great opportunity to meet other artists and spend a week or two with us. The colors of the city buildings and the light in our studio provide excellent inspiration. We invite you to stay with us between 5 - 20 September or 15 - 30 November 2022.
If you are a group of friends or from an Art Organisation, we would be happy to discuss other periods of the year for you to visit us. We will look for times outside specialised Art Seminars by local and visiting artists. (see link to our Art Seminars).
Staying with us can be on a self managed basis or include support by our Technical Supervisor for a 1 day individual cost of EUR 100, or for groups upto 10 persons at EUR 250 per day.
The prices for Artist in Residence are the following:

One week for 1 person: 500 euros (includes the support of technical supervisor of one day and the use of the installations).

One week for 3 persons: 1050 (includes the support of technical supervisor of one day and the use of the installations).

One week up to 5 persons EUR 1.250 (includes the support of technical supervisor of one day and the use of the installations).

One week up to 10 persons EUR 1.750 (includes the support of technical supervisor of one day and the use of the installations).
